This limited (600 copies), single-song CD was released for sale at Current 93’s second US show, which took place in New York City, March 1999. No lyrics, or for that matter, packaging of any kind.
As you might guess from the title and the image on the CD, this is not one of the band’s more serious releases. The disc’s only track, MISERY FARM, is a cute folkish song consisting primarily of violin, Tibet-provided vocals, and a somewhat off-time and out-of-tune background chorus offering drunken color and animal noises. No profound lyrics, just a silly tale about a (miserable) farm in the middle of a swamp.
Though mildly brilliant, this is definitely a disc for the collectors and completists, so don’t panic if you didn’t get a copy. It’s a great two minutes, but doesn’t add any new insight into the Current 93 mythology. Superficial fun only.
No epilogue.
