Go here: www.myspace.com/grassgirl to find Grassgirl where she is conducting an experiment of sorts. The three tracks featured there are 'works in progress'.
At this moment in time, they are are taking the form of little audio notes to herself recorded on an iPod.
As the weeks go by Grassgirl will work on just these three tracks, quite transparently. So, each time more sounds are added or evolved within a track, the new version will be posted up on the page.

David Tibet designs T-shirt for the May 2009 issue of 'The Wire'
David has been invited to design a T-shirt for 'The Wire'. They write:
"Since summer 2003 we have been producing a series of limited edition shirts featuring specially commissioned designs by a variety of artists, designers and musicians. These special edition shirts are printed in limited runs of just 100 shirts each and sold by mail order via the pages of the magazine. Once all 100 have been sold, that's it, they aren't reprinted."
However, for David's design, 'The Wire' have agreed that only 93 copies of the shirt will be available for sale. For more details, and to see the shirt design nearer the time of the publication of the May issue, go to www.thewire.co.uk or buy a copy of the May issue.

Lyric book update: 'Under the Rain and Teeth of Gods'
Our friends José Pacheco and Ayşe Tuzlak have both been very hard at work bringing the files and lyric transcriptions together for David to check. David is currently looking through other texts, and has (at last!) high hopes that the book will be out in Summer; he intends to do his last corrections whilst in India. It is VERY NEARLY READY—or, at least, very near to being in the correct form to send to the printers. I THANK all of you who pre-ordered this book about 93 years ago, once again, for your patience. As usual, anyone wanting their payment refunded need just let us know, and we will refund them immediately.
David Tibet appears on a track on the new Skitliv album
David and Sven Erik Fuzz-Kristiansen, aka Maniac, both share vocals on a track called 'Towards the Shores of Loss' on the forthcoming Skitliv album 'Skandinavisk Misantropi'. Maniac hopes the album will be out in early June 2009. David was absolutely delighted and severely honoured to sing with one of his favourite vocalists and with one of his favourite bands on a track on their beautifully monstrous album. More details when we have them. Whilst we are on this subject, Skitliv also did a powerful version of 'Good Morning, Great Moloch' from 'Sleep has his House'. For more information on Skitliv, go to http://www.myspace.com/skitliv777.

Kipple from David Tibet
I love these albums at the moment: Ladyhawke's 'Ladyhawke'; Ladytron's 'Volicifero' and Amebix's 'Monolith'; THANK YOU to Matthew Davies at Tangled Parrot in Carmarthen and Gary Robertson at Sister Ray in London for drawing them to my attention. I am presently reading the Sahidic Coptic version of a homily by John Chrysostom on Michael the Archangel. I read Basil of Cæsarea's (aka 'Basil the Great') two homilies on Michael last week. And I am just about to start 'Dark Mission: The Secret History of NASA' by Richard Hoagland and Mike Bara, which was kindly sent to me by Adam Parfrey this morning and which is published on his excellent and consistently provocative Feral House imprint: www.FeralHouse.com.
I am also looking for these two albums, so if anyone has a copy to trade/sell, please contact me c/o Durtro:
- The D.R. Hooker Band: 'ARMAGEDDON' 1979, USA/On Records 40725. First pressing only please, not the Italian bootleg from the 1980s.
- The D.R. Hooker Band: 'RAIN ON THE MOON' (cassette-only release, no label, 1987)
Love to you all David Tibet+++
