Durtro News: 20 March 2008

Shirley Collins — my heroine — and Folk Roots, New Routes — her special event!

Dear all:

This update is solely about my heroine Shirley Collins. As many of you know, I have loved Shirley’s work for about 20 years, and I am so happy and excited that she is being honoured with FOLK ROOTS, NEW ROUTES, a special series of events, curated by her, at London’s South Bank. A BBC Radio 4 programme on Tuesday 25 March at 11.30 starts the event. I really recommend this with all my heart, and hope to see many of you there.

A proper Current 93 update will be sent out just before we start our European shows.

Love to you all,

David Tibet+++
