Pantaleimon new album ‘Mercy Oceans’ out — at last — next week!

‘Mercy Oceans’ is the long-anticipated second full length album from Pantaleimon. The new album features contributions by Baby Dee, Isobel Campbell, Keith Wood (Hush Arbors), John Contreras and Jerome Alexandre. Pantaleimon have created an album of exceptional beauty and depth. There are ten tracks: all songs and all stunningly captivating.
The album is contained in a beautiful digipak with a full colour booklet containing lyrics, along with artwork by artist Beth Carter: www.bethcarter.co.uk and photography by Cam Archer.
‘Mercy Oceans’ follows on from the critically acclaimed CD EP ‘Cloudburst’ released earlier this year.
The official release date in the shops is 5 November 2007 but you can receive your copy two weeks in advance by placing your order from our shop. If you would like your copy personally signed to you by Andria Degens then she will be happy to do so: just send an email (stating PANTALEIMON: PLEASE SIGN as the subject) with your request. £11 plus postage and packing and VAT where applicable.

Nurse With Wound: ‘Gyllensköld, Geijerstam and I at Rydberg’s’ CD reissue out next week

This early NWW album, one of David’s earliest appearances with NWW and the first ‘proper’ recordings David made with NWW after Steven Stapleton asked him to join the group, is released next week as a re-mastered digipak.
It contains all three tracks from the original vinyl version (‘Several Odd Moments Prior to Lunch’, ‘Phenomenon of Aquarium and Bearded Lady’, ’Dirty Fingernails’), as well as their re-workings (‘Odd’, ‘Aquarium’, ‘Dirty Fingernails’) which later appeared on the CD ‘Large Ladies with Cake in the Oven’. £11 plus postage and packing and VAT where applicable.

Count Stenbock ‘Faust’ update
The CDs are now all ready; the page proofs for the book have been corrected and approved, and we expect the book at last at last in 5 weeks. The delay was primarily due to problems with the dashes in the text, and in the red type that is used with black type on every page. This book will be so beautiful!

Baby Dee has just finished her new album, which will be released on Drag City in January, and which features Andrew WK, Matt Sweeney, Will Oldham, John Contreras, William Breeze and Maxim Mostin. I have heard this album and it is absolutely breathtaking. Catch Dee on tour before she becomes a superstar! www.babydee.org and www.myspace.com/theonlybabydee
